WINDHAM HARVEST SPECIALISTS - Vacuum Cooler made in 2010 "EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST" wanted for this VACUUM COOLER which is in operation until August 2019. Applications; Can be used to reduce temperature fast for lettuce and most leafy vegetables but all vegetables and berries can be vacuum chilled. Curtrently being used on mushrooms' Advantages of vacuum cooling include; Fast temperature reduction, increased product shelf life, low energy consumption. This unit hold 4 standard pallets. Product core temps go from 21-22 degrees to sub 4 degrees in 21 mins. Powered sliding entry door Currently using 2 of Bitzer 4GE-30 refrigeration compressors and a Busch RA 0800 vacuum pump (NOT INCLUDED) No external refrigeration or vacuum pump included.
