BELT FREEZER TUNNEL - with MYCOM COMPRESSOR

This Tunnel freezer is fitted with Mycom 6J refrigeration compressor and a Cabero HX/Condenser made in Germany, which was fitted new in 2018.

The freeze dryer conveyor belt 4,300 mm long and 1020 mm wide, it is 1560mm above floor level.

The refrigeration unit runs on R407C and was serviced and has run trouble free.

Used to freeze product after forming, pieces were roughly 20mm x 25mm.

After about 2 minutes in the tunnel they came out at -10c.

Could be lower exit temperature by slowing the belt speed to give a longer dwell time.
